About Us

Jossund Auction Service is excited to serve as your local auctioneer.

In July 2025, Andrew and Kayla Jossund proudly took the reins of Berg Auction Service, originally founded by Bill Berg in 1981. With Bill's impressive history of successful auctions behind us, we are honored to carry on that legacy.

Andrew Jossund is a fifth generation farmer and grew up on his family's grain and sugar beet farm near Perley, Minnesota. After high school, he earned an Associate's degree in Diesel Technology from MSCTC and went on to study General Agriculture at NDSU. In 2017, he attended Continental Auctioneers School in Northwood, Iowa. Since then, he has been farming and working as an auctioneer with various auction companies. He is the 2018 North Dakota State Champion Auctioneer and the 2019 Minnesota State Champion Auctioneer. In his free time, Andrew enjoys collecting and restoring antique tractors and equipment and volunteering at the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion.

Kayla Jossund grew up in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, before her family settled in Neillsville, Minnesota. Her father Bruce was an avid auction-goer, and Kayla spent many Saturdays by his side at sales — giving her a lifelong appreciation for the auction world. Kayla is a Registered Nurse with a sharp eye for antiques, and her attention to detail and organizational skills are evident in every aspect of Jossund Auction Service. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, baking, and working toward visiting every Minnesota State Park.

Andrew and Kayla make their home on the family farm east of Hendrum, Minnesota, where they are raising their son, Luther.

We look forward to serving our sellers and buyers by combining the energy and tradition of live auctions with the advantages of modern technology. With deep roots in production agriculture and a shared passion for antiques, Jossund Auction Service is committed to being your trusted partner in the auction business.
